Teatro Bertolt Brecht

Inaugurato il 4 aprile 2009 il Teatro Comunale Bertolt Brecht è stato costruito nel quartiere di San Sisto, zona interessata da importanti mutamenti urbanistici e sociali.
A fianco della Bibliomediateca Sandro Penna, il teatro è il risultato di un importante investimento dell’amministrazione comunale per dotare la città di un nuovo spazio funzionale e moderno, capace di dare nuovo slancio socio-culturale al quartiere.
La gestione artistica, organizzativa e tecnica del Teatro Brecht è affidata a Fontemaggiore Centro di Produzione Teatrale, che opera nel territorio regionale da sessanta anni e si occupa, in particolare, di teatro ragazzi e di teatro contemporaneo.

Bertolt Brecht Theatre
Inaugurated on April 4, 2009, the Bertolt Brecht Municipal Theatre was built in the San Sisto district, an area undergoing significant urban and social transformation.
Next to the Sandro Penna multimedia library, the theatre is the result of a major municipal investment to provide the city with a modern, functional space capable of revitalising the neighbourhood’s cultural and social life.
The artistic, organisational, and technical management of the Brecht Theatre is entrusted to Fontemaggiore – Centro di Produzione Teatrale, an organisation active in the region for over sixty years, specialising in children’s theatre and contemporary theatre.
